Crowds at the 2012 inaugural event!
This festival celebrates Newport’s rich brewing history (dating back before the American Revolution!). Brewers will travel from as far as California, and as close as Newport’s North End! Guests will be given the opportunity to try small samples of a spectrum of craft brews and converse with the folks who made them. Local bands and restaurants
will join us all! (Food available for purchase!)
Ticket information. The Newport Craft Beer Festival will be a 21+ event.

The Newport Gateway Center is about 3 blocks away and has a free parking garage at this time of year. (Adjacent to the bus station and Newport Visitors Center. http://www.GoNewport.com).

Event looks super fun! What a great alternative to Oktoberfest. Sounds like a true learning experience filled with quality beer and most importantly, supporting small business- which gives lower Broadway all it’s character. Sad to miss it!
Do you have tickets for non-drinking, designated drivers?
Hi Michele,
All Festival tickets are $45 dollars. It is conveniently located in Newport, within walking distance to hundreds of attractions. If you are a non drinker but are travelling with someone attending the festival, there are mansions, walking tours, trolley trips, day sails, and beaches all within walking distance! We planned the festival downtown deliberately so that there is something for everyone in a family just a stones throw away. I hope that helps!

will the craft beer fest glasses be available for sale anywhere online for those that cant attend?
Unfortunately no. This is our first year and so we ordered exactly what we needed. Next year!
Can you buy tickets the day of the event?
The event is sold out and no tickets will be available on the day of.
Will you be posting an official beer list before this Saturday? Also, will there be a “beer program” listing all the beers with their respective breweries for the event?
We haven’t asked the brewers for a list in advance to give them flexibility to bring their freshest stuff. There is a program at the event, but it does not list specific beers.
Its sold out?!? Is there any way I can get tickets (at the door, maybe)?
The event is completely sold out and no tickets will be available at the door. It is our first year and so we wanted to keep it small. Next year we hope for a bigger event. Cheers!

What exactly does this beer festival entitle? Is it like a beer tasting event? And will food be provided as well as entertainment?
Beer samples are free with the purchase of tickets?
Samples from all 30 breweries are included in the ticket price, as well as a Festival souvenir tasting glass!
